I had a wonderful experience in Nasik India at Yoga Vidya Dham (http://www.yogapoint.com). An ashram devoted to promoting the teaching of Patangali located amidst the most breathtaking scenic panorama. The teachers are beautiful souls and the memories of them, their wisdom and the sunsets from Om hill will be forever etched into my mind.

My yoga travel took me to Kerala. I had two main choices, one was Sivananda a popular ashram and the other was a small traditional ashram Tulasidalam.I took my chance and made my way to Tulasidalam. It was a right decision after all. The ashram is with very few people around five at the most. The classes were taken by the main teacher .. guide, Sindu. Here they follow the ashtanga yoga path of Sage Patanjali and the talks were soooo good and simple. The place is heavenly with very good energy. After that I went up North India, but the experience at Tulasidalam is the best to remember.

  4. I’m going to experience one month residential yoga teacher training at The Yoga Institute, Santacruz, Mumbai, India (http://www.theyogainstitute.org) in April 2010. It’s a 90 year old institute and am excited to go there to enhance my understanding of Yoga.

I’ll post my experience once my teacher training is over.

    Namaste,
    Raj
